Made with love for the food that you love. Inspired by summer holidays in Costal Maine, this slightly wonky and completely handmade bowl will bring the seaside to your table. Each lobster design is cut out from a piece of paper and applied onto the leather hard clay surface and then decorated with multiple layers orange and red slip to give the pieces a painterly depth to the finish. Once all of the nuanced layers of slip are painted on, the paper cut outs are removed to reveal the colour of the shapes underneath.

Each work is completely unique due to the painterly process. Any irregularities in the work are due to the making and firing process and are part of the hand-made quality of the piece.
